The lack of students’ literacy is required to be overcome in order create well-informed and active human sources so it an effective counselling technique. As a response this current phenomenon, research aimed at determining the effectiveness Cognitive Counselling Theory with Restructuring Techniques Increase Students' Interest Literacy. type quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design pre-test post-test design. involvement students class X, totalling 39 people as experimental were selected sample research. data analysis method used t-test using SPSS 20.0 Windows 10 program. results t-count are evident from t-hit value 10,733 > 0,227 t-table.
